Jiri started his career as a hockey agent in 1995 and in 1997 he joined Orr Hockey Group, owned by hockey legend Bobby Orr. As a certified agent, Jiri was a significant contributor to the firm’s success and brought players like Tomas Kaberle, Frantisek Kaberle, Jozef Stumpel, Jiri Tlusty, and Tomas Plekanec to the NHL. In 2015, Jiri founded his own Agency which focuses on German Hockey.
He has advised 2020 NHL Hart Trophy Winner (League MVP) Leon Draisaitl since he was a young boy. He also helped Dominik Kahun, an undrafted German, reach the NHL after playing junior in Canada and a few seasons with Red Bull Munich.
Now in 2020, Jiri has decided to expand Spectrum Hockey to find other young German players with NHL Potential and assist them on the development path and make sure they all reach their full potential as hockey players and young men.
After retirement, Neville attained a Bachelor Degree in Management and worked closely with the GMs at Red Bull Munich and ERC Ingolstadt. In 2018, Neville went to Deggendorf as GM. During this time Neville formed a friendship with Jiri and the idea of expanding hockey spectrum was created. Both had the same philosophy when it came to development and young players.
Neville is looking forward to his new position at Spectrum Hockey and working with Jiri. His experience as a player, assistant GM and GM, alongside his extensive reach throughout the German hockey leagues have set him up for success for his future at Spectrum Hockey.
